Andrew is the Business Director and Principal Physiotherapist. He is the proud father of 3 daughters aged 4 to 16 years old and you will often find his wife Amanda looking after things from reception.
Graduated from AUT in 1994 with a BHSc and has worked in private practice ever since.
Extensive experience in Sports Physiotherapy clinics in New Zealand and Canada.
Completed a Certificate in Medical Acupuncture at the University of Alberta Medical School in 2000 and a Certificate in Health Science (Sports Med) through Auckland University Medical School in 2003.
Physiotherapist in Rugby Canada Super League / Calgary Rugby Union 1998-2000 and has worked with the Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union U18s and U20s representative sides from 2006 to 2011.
Has a special interest in working with Golf Specific injuries and completed FitforeGolf® and Get Fit For Golf courses.
Andrew has specialised in the treatment of soft tissue injuries and dysfunction using specific Myofascial Release techniques, such as Active Soft Tissue Therapy, Ice and Stretch and Intramuscular Stimulation, learned while working in Calgary and since returning to New Zealand. Over the last 6 years, Andrew has become full body certified in Active Release Techniques® and is passionate about treating difficult conditions that fail to respond to other types of intervention. He has just completed the first Level 2 course provided in Australia and is continually finding better ways to solve those hard to fix problems.
